Mu'jam Kabir Tabarani 10969 — It is from the Sunnah in prayer that you
حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ النَّضْرِ الْعَسْكَرِيُّ، حَدَّثَنِي عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ عُبَيْدِ اللهِ الْحَلَبِيُّ، ثنا سُفْيَانُ بْنُ عُيَيْنَةَ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الْكَرِيمِ، عَنْ طَاوُسٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ رَضِي اللهُ عَنْهُ، قَالَ: «مِنَ السُّنَّةِ فِي الصَّلَاةِ أَنْ تَضَعَ أَلْيَتَيْكَ عَلَى عَقِبَيْكَ بَيْنَ السَّجْدَتَيْنِ»
Sayyiduna Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) said: "It is from the Sunnah in prayer that you place your buttocks on your heels between the two prostrations."
