Tawus from Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with him)
Mu'jam Kabir Tabarani 10939 — while performing tawaf of the Ka'bah
حَدَّثَنَا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّزَّاقِ، عَنِ ابْنِ جُرَيْجٍ، عَنْ سُلَيْمَانَ الْأَحْوَلِ، عَنْ طَاوُسٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ، أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ مَرَّ وَهُوَ يَطُوفُ بِالْكَعْبَةِ بِإِنْسَانٍ قَدْ رَبَطَ يَدَهُ إِلَى إِنْسَانٍ آخَرَ بِسَيْرٍ أَوْ خَيْطٍ أَوْ بِشَيْءٍ غَيْرِ ذَلِكَ فَقَطَعَهُ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَقَالَ: «قُدْهُ بِيَدِكَ»
Sayyiduna Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) narrates that while performing tawaf of the Ka'bah, the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) passed by a man who had tied his hand to another man with a strap, a thread or something else. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) cut it and said: "Lead him by your hand."
