حَدَّثَنَا إِسْحَاقُ الدَّبَرِيُّ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّزَّاقِ، عَنِ ابْنِ جُرَيْجٍ، عَنِ الْحَسَنِ بْنِ مُسْلِمٍ، عَنْ طَاوُسٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ، قَالَ: شَهِدْتُ الْعِيدَ مَعَ رَسُولِ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «فَبَدَأَ بِالصَّلَاةِ قَبْلَ الْخُطْبَةِ»
Sayyiduna Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) said: "I attended the Eid with the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him), and he (peace and blessings be upon him) began with the prayer before the sermon."
