حَدَّثَنَا الْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ التُّسْتَرِيُّ، ثنا خَالِدُ بْنُ يَزِيدَ الْعُمَرِيُّ، ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ مُسْلِمٍ، ثنا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ مَيْسَرَةَ، عَنْ طَاوُسٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ رَضِي اللهُ عَنْهُ، قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «رَبَّ مُعَلِّمِ حُرُوفِ أَبِي جَادٍ دَارِسٍ فِي النُّجُومِ لَيْسَ لَهُ عِنْدَ اللهِ خَلَاقٌ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ»
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "How many a teacher of the letters of Abjad and student of astrology there are who will have no share with Allah on the Day of Resurrection."
