حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ الْبَرَاءِ، ثنا الْمُعَافَى بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ، ثنا مُوسَى بْنُ أَعْيَنَ، عَنْ لَيْثٍ، عَنْ طَاوُسٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ رَضِي اللهُ عَنْهُمَا، أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «كَانَ يُسَمِّي حَجَّةَ الْوَدَاعِ حَجَّةَ الْإِسْلَامِ»
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) used to call the Farewell Pilgrimage (Hajjat al-Wada') the Pilgrimage of Islam (Hajjat al-Islam).
