طاوس، عن ابن عباس
Tawus from Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with him)
Mu'jam Kabir Tabarani 10869 — the Messenger of Allah ﷺ forbade
حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ التَّمَّارُ، ثنا مُوسَى بْنُ إِسْمَاعِيلَ، ثنا وُهَيْبٌ، عَنِ ابْنِ طَاوُسٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ رَضِي اللهُ عَنْهُمَا، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «نَهَى أَنْ يَبِيعَ الرَّجُلُ طَعَامًا حَتَّى يَسْتَوْفِيَهُ»
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) forbade a person to sell foodstuff until he has taken full possession of it.
