Mu'jam Kabir Tabarani 10856 — the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: Divide

حَدَّثَنَا إِسْحَاقُ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّزَّاقِ، عَنْ مَعْمَرٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ طَاوُسٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ رَضِي اللهُ عَنْهُمَا، قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «اقْسِمِ الْمَالَ بَيْنِ أَهْلِ الْفَرَائِضِ عَلَى كِتَابِ اللهِ فَمَا تَرَكَتِ الْفَرَائِضُ فَلِأَوْلَى رَجُلٍ ذَكَرٍ»
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Divide the wealth among the people of the fixed shares according to the Book of Allah; then whatever remains after the fixed shares is the right of the nearest male."
