حَدَّثَنَا إِسْحَاقُ الدَّبَرِيُّ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّزَّاقِ، عَنِ الثَّوْرِيِّ، عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ دِينَارٍ، عَنْ طَاوُسٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ، قَالَ: «أُمَرَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَنْ نَسْجُدَ عَلَى سَبْعٍ وَلَا نَكُفَّ شَعْرًا، وَلَا ثَوْبًا»
Sayyiduna Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) said: the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) was commanded that we prostrate on seven limbs, and that we not gather up hair or clothing.
