It is narrated from Sayyiduna Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with him) that a Jewish man and a Jewish woman, both of whom were married, were brought to the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him). They asked him (peace and blessings be upon him) to pass the judgement of stoning on them, so he (peace and blessings be upon him) had them stoned in the courtyard of the mosque.
