Mu'jam Kabir Tabarani 10771 — the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: If I live

حَدَّثَنَا الْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ الْقَتَّاتُ، وَمُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْعَبَّاسِ الْمُؤَدِّبُ، قَالَا: ثنا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ يُونُسَ، ثنا ابْنُ أَبِي ذِئْبٍ، عَنِ الْقَاسِمِ بْنِ عَبَّاسٍ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ عُمَيْرٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «إِنْ عِشْتُ إِنْ شَاءَ اللهُ إِلَى قَابِلٍ صُمْتُ التَّاسِعَ؛ مَخَافَةَ أَنْ يَفُوتَنِي يَوْمُ عَاشُورَاءَ»
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "If I live until next year, in sha' Allah, I will fast the ninth (of Muharram), out of concern that the fast of the day of Ashura' might be missed by me."
