حَدَّثَنَا الْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ التُّسْتَرِيُّ، ثنا عُثْمَانُ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ، ثنا يَعْلَى بْنُ مَنْصُورٍ، ثنا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ عَمَّارٍ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَمَّارِ بْنِ سَعْدٍ، حَدَّثَهُ عَنْ أَبِيهِ سَعْدٍ مُؤَذِّنِ عُمَرَ، عَنْ بِلَالٍ «أَنَّهُ كَانَ يُؤَذِّنُ لِرَسُولِ اللهِ يَوْمَ الْجُمُعَةِ، إِذَا كَانَ الْفَيْءُ قَدْرَ الشِّرَاكِ، إِذَا قَعَدَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عَلَى الْمِنْبَرِ»
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Bilal (may Allah be pleased with him) that on Friday he used to give the adhan for the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) when the shadow had become the length of a sandal strap, when the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) sat on the pulpit.
