Said bin al-Musayyab from Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with him)
Mu'jam Kabir Tabarani 10649 — I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ saying

حَدَّثَنَا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ عِرْقٍ، ثنا ابْنُ مُصَفَّى، ثنا سُوَيْدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ، عَنِ الْأَوْزَاعِيِّ، عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ، عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ الْمُسَيِّبِ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهماُ قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ: «لَا يَكُونُ لَنَا مَثَلُ السُّوءِ، مَثَلُ الَّذِي يَرْجِعُ فِي هِبَتِهِ مَثَلُ الْكَلْبِ يَرْجِعُ فِي قَيْئِهِ فَيَأْكُلُهُ»
Sayyiduna Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) said: I heard the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) saying: "An evil likeness is not (fitting) for us: the likeness of the one who takes back his gift is that of a dog that returns to its vomit and eats it."
