Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Mas'ud (may Allah be pleased with him) said: I heard the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) say: "Whoever drags his garments (along the ground) out of arrogance, Allah will not look at him (with mercy), whether in what is lawful or in what is unlawful."
(The narrator said:) This Isma'il is Isma'il bin Abi Khalid, and Allah knows best.
