Mu'jam Kabir Tabarani 10476 — the Prophet ﷺ said: There is none of you
اُردوEn
حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو مُسْلِمٍ الْكَشِّيُّ، ثنا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ رَجَاءٍ، أنا شَيْبَانُ، عَنْ مَنْصُورٍ، عَنْ سَالِمِ بْنِ أَبِي الْجَعْدِ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ مَسْعُودٍ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: «مَا مِنْكُمْ مِنْ أَحَدٍ إِلَّا وَقَدْ وُكِّلَ بِهِ قَرِينُهُ مِنَ الْجِنِّ» ، فَقِيلَ: وَإِيَّاكَ؟ قَالَ: «وَإِيَّايَ، وَلَكِنَّ اللهَ تَعَالَى أَعَانَنِي عَلَيْهِ فَأَسْلَمَ، وَلَا يَأْمُرُنِي إِلَّا بِخَيْرٍ» .
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Mas'ud (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "There is none of you except that his companion (qarin) from the jinn has been assigned to him." It was said: "And you too?" He (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "And me too, but Allah Almighty helped me against him, so he submitted (became Muslim), and now he commands me only to do good."
