حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو صَالِحٍ الْقَاسِمُ بْنُ اللَّيْثِ الرَّاسِبِيُّ، ثنا الْمُعَافَى بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ، ثنا فُلَيْحُ بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ، قَالَ: أَقْبَلَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَهُوَ مُرْدِفٌ أُسَامَةَ عَلَى الْعَضْبَاءِ وَمَعَهُ بِلَالٌ، وَعُثْمَانُ بْنُ طَلْحَةَ حَتَّى أَنَاخَ عِنْدَ الْبَيْتِ، فَقَالَ لِعُثْمَانَ: «ائْتِنَا بِالْمِفْتَاحِ» فَجَاءَهُ بِالْمِفْتَاحِ، فَفَتَحَ لَهُ الْبَابَ، فَدَخَلَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَأُسَامَةُ، وَبِلَالٌ، وَعُثْمَانُ بْنُ طَلْحَةَ ثُمَّ أَغْلَقُوا عَلَيْهِمُ الْبَيْتَ، فَمَكَثُوا فِيهِ طَوِيلًا، ثُمَّ خَرَجَ، فَابْتَدَرَ النَّاسُ الدُّخُولَ فَسَبَقْتُهُمْ، فَوَجَدْتُ بِلَالًا قَائِمًا وَرَاءَ النَّاسِ، فَقُلْتُ: أَيْنَ صَلَّى رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ؟ قَالَ: «صَلَّى بَيْنَ الْعَمُودَيْنِ الْمُقَدَّمَيْنِ، وَجَعَلَ النَّاسَ مِنْ خَلْفِ ظَهْرِهِ، وَاسْتَقْبَلَ بِوَجْهِهِ الَّذِي مُسْتِقْبِلُكَ»
Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) came on his she-camel al-Adba' with Usamah riding behind him, and with him were also Bilal and Uthman bin Talhah, until he (peace and blessings be upon him) made the camel kneel near the Ka'bah. He said to Uthman: "Bring us the key." So he brought the key and opened the door for him (peace and blessings be upon him). Then the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him), Usamah, Bilal and Uthman bin Talhah entered (the Ka'bah), then they closed the door of the House upon themselves and stayed in it for a long time. Then he (peace and blessings be upon him) came out, and the people rushed to go inside. I got ahead of them and found Bilal (may Allah be pleased with him) standing behind the people. I asked: Where did the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) pray? He said: "He (peace and blessings be upon him) prayed between the two front pillars, kept the people behind his back, and faced the direction that is in front of you."
