Mu'jam Kabir Tabarani 10418 — We were commanded to prostrate on seven

حَدَّثَنَا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ نَائِلَةَ الْأَصْبَهَانِيُّ، ثنا إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ عَمْرٍو الْبَجَلِيُّ، ثنا إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ زَكَرِيَّا، عَنِ الْأَعْمَشِ، عَنْ أَبِي وَائِلٍ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ قَالَ: «أُمِرْنَا أَنْ نَسْجُدَ عَلَى سَبْعَةِ أَعْظُمٍ، وَلَا نَكُفُّ شَعْرًا وَلَا ثَوْبًا»
Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Mas'ud (may Allah be pleased with him) said: "We were commanded to prostrate on seven bones, and not to hold back (by gathering up in prostration) our hair or our clothes."
