حَدَّثَنَا عَمْرُو بْنُ أَبِي الطَّاهِرِ بْنِ السَّرْحِ الْمِصْرِيُّ، ثنا يَحْيَى بْنُ بُكَيْرٍ، حَدَّثَنِي اللَّيْثُ، عَنْ كَثِيرِ بْنِ فَرْقَدٍ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهُمَا، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ دَخَلَ الْكَعْبَةَ، وَأُسَامَةُ بْنُ زَيْدٍ، وَبِلَالٌ، وَعُثْمَانُ بْنُ طَلْحَةَ، فَمَكَثَ فِي الْبَيْتِ فَأَطَالَ، ثُمَّ خَرَجَ، فَدَخَلَ عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ عُمَرَ عَلَى أَثَرِهِ أَوَّلَ النَّاسِ، فَسَأَلَ بِلَالًا: أَيْنَ صَلَّى رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ؟ قَالَ: «بَيْنَ الْعَمُودَيْنِ الْمُقَدَّمَيْنِ» وَنَسِيتُ أَنْ أَسْأَلَهُ كَمْ صَلَّى
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) entered the Ka'bah, and with him (peace and blessings be upon him) were also Sayyiduna Usamah bin Zayd, Sayyiduna Bilal and Sayyiduna Uthman bin Talhah (may Allah be pleased with them). They stayed in the House for a long time, then came out. Abdullah bin Umar entered right after them, the first of the people, and asked Bilal (may Allah be pleased with him): Where did the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) pray? He said: "Between the two front pillars." And I forgot to ask how many rak'ahs he prayed.
