Mu'jam Kabir Tabarani 10357 — the Messenger of Allah ﷺ had a horse

حَدَّثَنَا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ مَتْوَيْهِ الْأَصْبَهَانِيُّ، ثنا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ مُنَبِّهِ بْنِ عُثْمَانَ، ثنا أَبِي، عَنْ مَرْوَانَ بْنِ سَالِمٍ، عَنِ الْأَعْمَشِ، عَنْ زَيْدِ بْنِ وَهْبٍ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ مَسْعُودٍ قَالَ: كَانَ لِرَسُولِ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَرَسٌ يَسِيحُ بِهِ سَيْحًا، فَأَعْجَبَهُ، فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «إِنَّمَا فَرَسِي هَذَا بَحْرٌ»
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Mas'ud (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) had a horse that would run very swiftly with him, and he (peace and blessings be upon him) was greatly pleased with it, so the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "This horse of mine is indeed a sea (as swift as the sea)."
