حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو مُسْلِمٍ الْكَشِّيُّ، ثنا سُلَيْمَانُ بْنُ حَرْبٍ، ثنا حَمَّادُ بْنُ زَيْدٍ، عَنْ أَيُّوبَ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهُمَا، قَالَ: «قَدِمَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَنَزَلَ بِفِنَاءِ الْكَعْبَةِ، ثُمَّ أَرْسَلَ إِلَى عُثْمَانَ بْنِ طَلْحَةَ فَجَاءَ بِالْمِفْتَاحِ، فَدَخَلَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَبِلَالٌ، وَأُسَامَةُ بْنُ زَيْدٍ وَعُثْمَانُ بْنُ طَلْحَةَ» فَلَمَّا خَرَجُوا ابْتَدَرَهُمُ النَّاسُ، فَقُلْتُ لِبِلَالٍ: أَصَلَّى رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فِي الْبَيْتِ؟ قَالَ: نَعَمْ «بَيْنَ الْعَمُودَيْنِ تِلْقَاءَ وَجْهِهِ»
Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) said: "The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) arrived and dismounted in the courtyard of the Ka'bah, then sent for Uthman bin Talhah, who brought the key. Then the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), Bilal, Usamah bin Zayd and Uthman bin Talhah entered (the Ka'bah)." Then when they came out, the people rushed towards them, and I asked Bilal (may Allah be pleased with him): Did the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) pray in the House? He said: Yes, "between the two pillars, facing straight ahead of him."
