Mu'jam Kabir Tabarani 10326 — two men of the tribe of Juhaynah jointly

It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Mas'ud (may Allah be pleased with him) that two men of the tribe of Juhaynah jointly owned a slave, and one of them set him free. He came to the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), and he (peace and blessings be upon him) held him liable (for the value of the remaining share). He had about a hundred goats, so he sold them and paid his partner (his share).
