Mu'jam Kabir Tabarani 10321 — whenever captives were brought

حَدَّثَنَا حَفْصُ بْنُ عُمَرَ بْنِ الصَّبَّاحِ الرَّقِّيُّ، ثنا أَبُو حُذَيْفَةَ، ثنا سُفْيَانُ، عَنْ جَابِرٍ، عَنِ الْقَاسِمِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ مَسْعُودٍ قَالَ: «كَانَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ إِذَا أُتِيَ بِالسَّبْيِ أَعْطَى أَهْلَ الْبَيْتِ جَمِيعًا؛ كَرَاهِيَةَ أَنْ يُفَرِّقَ بَيْنَهُمْ»
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Mas'ud (may Allah be pleased with him) that whenever captives were brought to the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him), he would give all the members of one household together (to one person), disliking that they be separated from one another.
