حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ الْحَضْرَمِيُّ، ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ الْفَيْدِيُّ، ثنا جَابِرُ بْنُ نُوحٍ، عَنِ الْمَسْعُودِيِّ، عَنِ الْقَاسِمِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «لِيَسَعْكَ بَيْتُكَ، وَابْكِ مِنْ ذِكْرِ خَطِيئَتِكَ، وَامْلِكْ عَلَيْكَ لِسَانَكَ»
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Mas'ud (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Let your house suffice you (that is, do not go out much), weep when you remember your sin, and keep control over your tongue."
