Mu'jam Kabir Tabarani 10310 — when the Prophet ﷺ said 'Sami'a Allahu

حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ سَعِيدِ بْنِ أَبِي مَرْيَمَ، ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يُوسُفَ الْفِرْيَابِيُّ، ثنا سُفْيَانُ، عَنْ أَشْعَثَ بْنِ سَوَّارٍ، عَنِ الْقَاسِمِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنِ ابْنِ مَسْعُودٍ قَالَ: كَانَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ إِذَا قَالَ: «سَمِعَ اللهُ لِمَنْ حَمِدَهُ» قَالَ: «اللهُمَّ رَبَّنَا لَكَ الْحَمْدُ مِلْءُ السَّمَاوَاتِ، وَمِلْءُ الْأَرْضِ، وَمِلْءُ مَا شِئْتَ مِنْ شَيْءٍ بَعْدُ، أَهْلَ الثَّنَاءِ»
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Mas'ud (may Allah be pleased with him) that when the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said 'Sami'a Allahu liman hamidah' (Allah hears the one who praises Him), he would say: "O Allah, our Lord, to You belongs all praise, filling the heavens, filling the earth, and filling whatever You will besides that, O You who are worthy of praise."
