حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ التَّمَّارُ، ثنا سَهْلُ بْنُ بَكَّارٍ، ثنا أَبُو عَوَانَةَ، عَنْ جَابِرٍ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ الْأَسْوَدِ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ مَسْعُودٍ قَالَ: «أُتِيَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ بِسَبْيٍ، فَجَعَلَ يُعْطِي كُلَّ أَهْلِ بَيْتٍ جَمِيعًا، وَكَرِهَ أَنْ يُفَرِّقَ بَيْنَهُمْ»
Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Mas'ud (may Allah be pleased with him) said: "Captives were brought to the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him), and he would give each household together as a whole, disliking to separate them."
