Mu'jam Kabir Tabarani 10152 — I saw the Messenger of Allah ﷺ giving

حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو مُسْلِمٍ الْكَشِّيُّ، ثنا مُسْلِمُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ، ثنا هِشَامٌ الدَّسْتُوَائِيُّ، عَنْ حَمَّادٍ، عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ، عَنِ الْأَسْوَدِ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ قَالَ: رَأَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يُسَلِّمُ عَنْ يَمِينِهِ وَعَنْ شِمَالِهِ: «السَّلَامُ عَلَيْكُمْ وَرَحْمَةُ اللهِ، السَّلَامُ عَلَيْكُمْ وَرَحْمَةُ اللهِ»
Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Mas'ud (may Allah be pleased with him) said: I saw the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) giving the salam to his right and to his left: "As-salamu alaykum wa rahmatullah, as-salamu alaykum wa rahmatullah (Peace be upon you and the mercy of Allah, peace be upon you and the mercy of Allah)."
