حَدَّثَنَا أَسْلَمُ بْنُ سَهْلٍ الْوَاسِطِيُّ، ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ حَسَّانَ الْبُرْجُلَانِيُّ، ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَزِيدَ، عَنْ جَعْفَرِ بْنِ الْحَارِثِ، عَنْ سُلَيْمَانَ الْأَعْمَشِ، عَنْ عُمَارَةَ بْنِ عُمَيْرٍ، عَنِ الْأَسْوَدِ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ قَالَ: رَأَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَكْثَرَ مَا يَنْصَرِفُ عَنْ يَسَارِهِ. وَهَكَذَا رَوَاهُ أَصْحَابُ الْأَعْمَشِ، وَخَالَفَهُمُ الْحَجَّاجُ بْنُ أَرْطَاةَ
Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Mas'ud (may Allah be pleased with him) said: I saw the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) most often turning away from his left side.
