باب من روى عن ابن مسعود أنه لم يكن مع النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم ليلة الجن
Chapter: Those who reported that Ibn Masud (may Allah be pleased with him) was not with the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) on the Night of the Jinn
Mu'jam Kabir Tabarani 10063 — the Prophet ﷺ said: Prayer

حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو مُسْلِمٍ الْكَشِّيُّ، ثنا دَاوُدُ بْنُ شَبِيبٍ، ح وَحَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ حَنْبَلٍ، حَدَّثَنِي هُدْبَةُ بْنُ خَالِدٍ، قَالَا: ثنا هَمَّامٌ، عَنْ قَتَادَةَ، عَنْ مُوَرِّقٍ الْعِجْلِيِّ، عَنْ أَبِي الْأَحْوَصِ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: «تَفْضُلُ صَلَاةُ الْجَمَاعَةِ عَلَى صَلَاةِ الرَّجُلِ وَحْدَهُ خَمْسًا وَعِشْرِينَ صَلَاةً» .
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Mas'ud (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Prayer in congregation is superior to a man's prayer alone by twenty-five prayers."
