باب من روى عن ابن مسعود أنه لم يكن مع النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم ليلة الجن
Chapter: Those who reported that Ibn Masud (may Allah be pleased with him) was not with the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) on the Night of the Jinn
Mu'jam Kabir Tabarani 10059 — We were commanded to establish

حَدَّثَنَا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ نَائِلَةَ الْأَصْبَهَانِيُّ، ثنا إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ عَمْرٍو الْبَجَلِيُّ، ثنا شَرِيكٌ، وَأَبُو الْأَحْوَصِ، عَنْ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ، عَنْ أَبِي الْأَحْوَصِ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ قَالَ: «أُمِرْنَا بِإِقَامِ الصَّلَاةِ وَإِيتَاءِ الزَّكَاةِ، فَمَنْ لَمْ يُزَكِّ فَلَا صَلَاةَ لَهُ»
Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Mas'ud (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: "We were commanded to establish the prayer and to pay the zakah; so whoever does not pay zakah, there is no prayer for him."
