باب من روى عن ابن مسعود أنه لم يكن مع النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم ليلة الجن
Chapter: Those who reported that Ibn Masud (may Allah be pleased with him) was not with the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) on the Night of the Jinn
Mu'jam Kabir Tabarani 10057 — the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: The food

حَدَّثَنَا جَعْفَرُ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ السَّامِيُّ الْكُوفِيُّ، ثنا أَبُو كُرَيْبٍ، ثنا مُخْتَارُ بْنُ غَسَّانَ، عَنْ قَيْسِ بْنِ الرَّبِيعِ، عَنْ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ، عَنْ أَبِي الْأَحْوَصِ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «طَعَامُ الْوَاحِدِ يَكْفِي الِاثْنَيْنِ، وَطَعَامُ الِاثْنَيْنِ يَكْفِي الْأَرْبَعَةَ»
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Mas'ud (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "The food of one person suffices for two, and the food of two suffices for four."
