حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ الرَّازِيُّ، ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ نُبَاتَةَ الرَّازِيُّ، ثنا عَبْدُ الصَّمَدِ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ الْمُقْرِئُ قَالَ: قَرَأْتُ الْقُرْآنَ عَلَى طَلْحَةَ بْنِ سُلَيْمَانَ أَخِي إِسْحَاقَ بْنِ سُلَيْمَانَ، فَقَالَ لِي طَلْحَةُ: قَرَأْتُ عَلَى الْفُضَيْلِ بْنِ غَزْوَانَ، وَقَالَ الْفُضَيْلُ: قَرَأْتُ عَلَى طَلْحَةَ بْنِ مُصَرِّفٍ الْيَامِيِّ، وَقَالَ طَلْحَةُ: قَرَأْتُ عَلَى يَحْيَى بْنِ وَثَّابٍ، وَقَرَأَ يَحْيَى بْنُ وَثَّابٍ عَلَى عَلْقَمَةَ بْنِ قَيْسٍ، وَقَرَأَ عَلْقَمَةُ بْنُ قَيْسٍ عَلَى عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ مَسْعُودٍ، وَقَرَأَ عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ مَسْعُودٍ عَلَى رَسُولِ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: {مَالِكِ يَوْمِ الدِّينِ} بِالْأَلِفِ {غَيْرِ الْمَغْضُوبِ عَلَيْهِمْ} [الفاتحة: ٧] خَفَضَ
Abd al-Samad bin Abd al-Aziz al-Muqri said: I recited the Qur'an to Talhah bin Sulayman, the brother of Ishaq bin Sulayman, and Talhah said to me: I recited to al-Fudayl bin Ghazwan. And al-Fudayl said: I recited to Talhah bin Musarrif al-Yami. And Talhah said: I recited to Yahya bin Wathhab. And Yahya bin Wathhab recited to Alqamah bin Qays, and Alqamah bin Qays recited to Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Mas'ud (may Allah be pleased with him), and Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Mas'ud (may Allah be pleased with him) recited to the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him): "Maliki yawm al-din" with the alif, and "ghayri al-maghdubi 'alayhim" [Surah al-Fatihah: 7] with kasrah (on the ra).
