باب من روى عن ابن مسعود أنه لم يكن مع النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم ليلة الجن
Chapter: Those who reported that Ibn Masud (may Allah be pleased with him) was not with the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) on the Night of the Jinn
Mu'jam Kabir Tabarani 10019 — the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: Faith

حَدَّثَنَا جَعْفَرُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ الْفِرْيَابِيُّ، ثنا يَحْيَى بْنُ مُوسَى الْبَلْخِيُّ، ثنا يَحْيَى بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ السُّلَمِيُّ، ثنا عِيسَى بْنُ قِرْطَاسٍ، عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ، عَنْ عَلْقَمَةَ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «الْإِيمَانُ يَمَانٍ، وَمُضَرُ عِنْدَ أَذْنَابِ الْإِبِلِ»
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Mas'ud (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Faith is among the people of Yemen, and (the tribe of) Mudar is at the tails of the camels (busy with desert life)."
