باب من روى عن ابن مسعود أنه لم يكن مع النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم ليلة الجن
Chapter: Those who reported that Ibn Masud (may Allah be pleased with him) was not with the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) on the Night of the Jinn
Mu'jam Kabir Tabarani 10011 — the Prophet ﷺ said: Every good deed

حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ، ثنا أَبُو نُعَيْمٍ، ثنا صَدَقَةُ بْنُ مُوسَى، عَنْ فَرْقَدٍ السَّبَخِيِّ، ثنا إِبْرَاهِيمُ النَّخَعِيُّ، عَنْ عَلْقَمَةَ، عَنِ ابْنِ مَسْعُودٍ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: «كُلُّ مَعْرُوفٍ صَدَقَةٌ، غَنِيًّا كَانَ أَوْ فَقِيرًا»
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Mas'ud (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Every good deed is charity, whether the one who does good is rich or poor."
