حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ مُعَاذٍ التُّسْتَرِيُّ، ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ عُبَيْدِ بْنِ عَقِيلٍ، ثنا يَحْيَى بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ السَّدُوسِيُّ، ثنا عَمْرُو بْنُ الْأَزْهَرِ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَوْنٍ، عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ، عَنْ عَلْقَمَةَ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ قَالَ: «كَانَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ رُبَّمَا فَتَلَ عُرْفَ فَرَسِهِ بِيَدِهِ»
Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Mas'ud (may Allah be pleased with him) relates: "The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) would sometimes twist the mane of his horse with his own hand."
