باب من روى عن ابن مسعود أنه لم يكن مع النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم ليلة الجن
Chapter: Those who reported that Ibn Masud (may Allah be pleased with him) was not with the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) on the Night of the Jinn
Mu'jam Kabir Tabarani 10003 — the Prophet ﷺ said: (The damage done by)

حَدَّثَنَا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ دَاوُدَ الصَّوَّافُ، ثنا يَحْيَى بْنُ غَيْلَانَ، ثنا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ بَزِيعٍ، عنِ الْحَسَنِ بْنِ عُمَارَةَ، عَنِ الْحَكَمِ، عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ، عَنْ عَلْقَمَةَ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: «الْعَجْمَاءُ وَالْمَعْدِنُ جُبَارٌ، وَالسَّائِمَةُ جُبَارٌ، وَفِي الرِّكَازِ الْخُمُسُ»
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Mas'ud (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "(The damage done by) a dumb animal is not compensable, (the damage arising from working in) a mine is not compensable, (the damage done by) a grazing animal (is also) not compensable, and in buried treasure (rikaz) there is one fifth (khums)."
