حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ الْحَضْرَمِيُّ، ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عُبَيْدٍ الْمُحَارِبِيُّ، ثنا عَلِيُّ بْنُ هَاشِمٍ، عَنْ إِسْمَاعِيلَ بْنِ مُسْلِمٍ، عَنْ يَزِيدَ بْنِ الْوَلِيدِ، عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ، عَنْ عَلْقَمَةَ قَالَ: قَامَ عَبْدُ اللهِ عَلَى الصَّفَا عِنْدَ صَدْعٍ فِيهِ فَقَالَ: «هَا هُنَا وَالَّذِي لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا هُوَ قَامَ الَّذِي أُنْزِلَتْ عَلَيْهِ سُورَةُ الْبَقَرَةِ»
Alqamah said: Sayyiduna Abdullah (may Allah be pleased with him) stood on (Mount) al-Safa by a crack in it and said: "Right here, by the One besides whom there is no god, stood the one (the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him)) to whom Surah al-Baqarah was revealed."
