حَدَّثَنَا الْعَبَّاسُ بْنُ حَمَّادِ بْنِ فَضَالَةَ الصَّيْرَفِيُّ الْبَصْرِيُّ ، حَدَّثَنَا الْعَبَّاسُ بْنُ الْفَرَجِ الرِّيَاشِيُّ ، حَدَّثَنَا عُمَرُ بْنُ يُونُسَ الْيَمَامِيُّ ، حَدَّثَنَا عِيسَى بْنُ عَوْنٍ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الْمَلِكِ بْنِ زُرَارَةَ ، عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ ، قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَسَلَّمَ : "مَا أَنْعَمَ اللَّهُ عَلَى عَبْدٍ نِعْمَةً فِي مَالٍ أَوْ أَهْلٍ أَوْ وَلَدٍ فَقَالَ : مَا شَاءَ اللَّهُ ، لا قُوَّةَ إِلا بِاللَّهِ ، فَيَرَى فِيهَا آفَةً دُونَ الْمَوْتِ ، وَقَرَأَ : وَلَوْلا إِذْ دَخَلْتَ جَنَّتَكَ قُلْتَ مَا شَاءَ اللَّهُ لا قُوَّةَ إِلا بِاللَّهِ سورة الكهف آية 39 "، لا يُرْوَى هَذَا الْحَدِيثُ عَنْ أَنَسٍ ، إِلا بِهَذَا الإِسْنَادِ ، تَفَرَّدَ بِهِ عُمَرُ بْنُ يُونُسَ
Sayyiduna Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) reports that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Whoever Allah bestows any blessing of wealth, family, or children upon, and he says «مَا شَاءَ اللّٰهُ لَا قُوَّةَ إِلَّا بِاللّٰهِ», then Allah does not send any sudden calamity upon him except death." Then the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) recited this verse: ﴿And why did you, when you entered your garden, not say, 'What Allah has willed [has occurred]; there is no power except in Allah'?﴾ (Al-Kahf: 39).
