(مَصِيرُ مَنْ لَبِسَ الْحَرِيرَ فِي الدُّنْيَا)
(The end of one who wears silk in this world)
Mishkat al-Masabih 4319 — The end of one who wears silk in this world
وَعَنْ عُمَرَ وَأَنَسٍ وَابْنِ الزُّبَيْرِ وَأَبِي أُمَامَةَ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُمْ أَجْمَعِينَ عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: «مَنْ لَبِسَ الْحَرِيرَ فِي الدُّنْيَا لَمْ يَلْبَسْهُ فِي الْآخِرَة»
‘Umar, Anas, Ibn az-Zubair and Abu Umama reported the Prophet as saying,“He who wears silk in this world will not wear it in the next." (Bukhari and Muslim.)
