حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَابِرٍ ، عَنْ مَنْصُورٍ ، عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ ، قَالَ : كَانُوا يُحِبُّونَ أَنْ يُجَامِعُوا يَوْمَ الْجُمُعَةِ لِيُوجِبُوا الْغُسْلَ .
( 28 ) وَحَدِيثُ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهُمَا يَأْتِي إِنْ شَاءَ اللهُ تَعَالَى فِي النَّهْيِ عَنِ التَّخَطِّي .

It is narrated from Ibrahim al-Nakha'i (may Allah have mercy on him) that he said: "They (the righteous predecessors) liked to have intercourse with their wives on Friday so that they would make the ritual bath (ghusl) obligatory upon themselves (through this act) (and attend the Friday prayer in complete purity)."
And the hadith narrated from Sayyiduna Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) will come later, if Allah Almighty wills, in the chapter on the prohibition of stepping over (people's necks during the sermon).
