وَقَالَ أَبُو يَعْلَى : حَدَّثَنَا شَيْبَانُ ، ثَنَا طَيِّبُ بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ ، قَالَ : سَمِعْتُ عَمْرَةَ قَالَتْ : سَمِعْتُ عَائِشَةَ رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهَا تَقُولُ : سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ : مَنْ صَلَّى الْغَدَاةَ فَقَعَدَ مَقْعَدَهُ ، فَلَمْ يَلْغُ بِشَيْءٍ مِنْ أَمْرِ الدُّنْيَا ، وَيَذْكُرُ اللهَ تَعَالَى حَتَّى يُصَلِّيَ الضُّحَى أَرْبَعَ رَكَعَاتٍ ، خَرَجَ مِنْ ذُنُوبِهِ كَيَوْمِ وَلَدَتْهُ أُمُّهُ ، لَا ذَنْبَ لَهُ .
It is narrated from Sayyidah Aishah (may Allah be pleased with her) that she said: I heard the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) saying: "Whoever prays the morning (Fajr) prayer, then remains seated in his place (of prayer), not occupying himself with any idle talk of worldly affairs, but remaining engaged in the remembrance of Allah Almighty until he prays four rak'ahs of Duha, he comes out of his sins purified as on the day his mother gave birth to him, with no sin remaining upon him."
Imam Abu Ya'la narrated this hadith in his Musnad [hadith no. 4402], and Allamah al-Haythami stated explicitly in Majma' al-Zawa'id that all its narrators are thiqat (trustworthy).
