وَحَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى : عَنْ مِسْعَرٍ ، عَنْ سَعْدِ بْنِ إِبْرَاهِيمَ ، عَنِ الْقَاسِمِ قَالَ : إِنَّ عَائِشَةَ رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهَا كَانَتْ تُصَلِّي الضُّحَى فَتُطِيلُهَا .
It is narrated from Qasim bin Muhammad (may Allah have mercy on him): "Sayyidah Aishah (may Allah be pleased with her) used to pray the Duha (forenoon) prayer and make it very long."
Its chain is sahih (authentic), and this report indicates the special devotion of the Mother of the Believers, Sayyidah Aishah (may Allah be pleased with her), to the Duha prayer and her practice of standing long in it.
