قَالَ أَبُو يَعْلَى : حَدَّثَنَا هَارُونُ بْنُ مَعْرُوفٍ ، ثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ سُلَيْمٍ قَالَ : سَمِعْتُ مُحَمَّدَ بْنَ سَعِيدٍ الْمُؤَذِّنَ يُحَدِّثُ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ عَنْبَسَةَ ، قَالَ : سَمِعْتُ أُمَّ حَبِيبَةَ بِنْتَ أَبِي سُفْيَانَ رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهُمَا تَقُولُ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : مَنْ حَافَظَ عَلَى أَرْبَعِ رَكَعَاتٍ قَبْلَ الْعَصْرِ ، بَنَى اللهُ لَهُ بَيْتًا فِي الْجَنَّةِ .
قُلْتُ : رَوَاهُ أَبُو دَاوُدَ مِنْ طَرِيقٍ أُخْرَى عَنْ أُمِّ حَبِيبَةَ رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهَا بِلَفْظِ: قَبْلَ الظُّهْرِ .
قُلْتُ : رَوَاهُ أَبُو دَاوُدَ مِنْ طَرِيقٍ أُخْرَى عَنْ أُمِّ حَبِيبَةَ رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهَا بِلَفْظِ: قَبْلَ الظُّهْرِ .
It is narrated from Sayyidah Umm Habibah bint Abi Sufyan (may Allah be pleased with her) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Whoever keeps to and safeguards four rak'ahs before the Asr prayer, Allah Almighty, in return, builds for him a house in Paradise."
I (Ibn Hajar) say: Imam Abu Dawud narrated it through another route from Sayyidah Umm Habibah (may Allah be pleased with her) as well, but there the words "before Zuhr" are mentioned.
