قَالَ أَبُو بَكْرٍ : حَدَّثَنَا زَيْدُ بْنُ الْحُبَابِ ، ثَنَا مُوسَى بْنُ عُبَيْدَةَ ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ كَعْبٍ ، عَنْ عَوْفِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهُ ، قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : إِنِّي لَأَعْلَمُ آخِرَ أَهْلِ الْجَنَّةِ دُخُولًا فِيهَا : رَجُلًا كَانَ يَسْأَلُ اللهَ تَعَالَى أَنْ يُزَحْزِحَهُ عَنِ النَّارِ . الْحَدِيثُ .
وَأَسْأَلُ اللهَ تَعَالَى أَنْ يُزَحْزِحَنِي عَنِ النَّارِ ، وَيُدْخِلَنِي الْجَنَّةَ ، بِمَنِّهِ وَكَرَمِهِ آمِينَ .
تَمَّ الْجُزْءُ الثَّانِي وَبِتَمَامِهِ كَمُلَ جَمِيعُ كِتَابِ الْمُطَالِبِ الْعَالِيَةِ فِي زَوَائِدِ الْمَسَانِيدِ الثَّمَانِيَةِ ، تَخْرِيجُ الْإِمَامِ الْعَلَّامَةِ شَيْخِ الْإِسْلَامِ خَاتِمَةِ الْحُفَّاظِ قَاضِي الْقُضَاةِ شِهَابِ الدِّينِ أَبِي الْفَضْلِ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ عَلِيِّ بْنِ حَجَرٍ الْعَسْقَلَانِيِّ الْمِصْرِيِّ ، الشَّافِعِيِّ ، تَغَمَّدَهُ اللهُ بِرَحْمَتِهِ وَأَسْكَنَهُ بُحْبُوحَةَ جَنَّتِهِ آمِينَ .
وَصَلَّى اللهُ عَلَى سَيِّدِنَا مُحَمَّدٍ وَآلِهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، وَحَسْبُنَا اللهُ وَنِعْمَ الْوَكِيلُ .
وَأَسْأَلُ اللهَ تَعَالَى أَنْ يُزَحْزِحَنِي عَنِ النَّارِ ، وَيُدْخِلَنِي الْجَنَّةَ ، بِمَنِّهِ وَكَرَمِهِ آمِينَ .
تَمَّ الْجُزْءُ الثَّانِي وَبِتَمَامِهِ كَمُلَ جَمِيعُ كِتَابِ الْمُطَالِبِ الْعَالِيَةِ فِي زَوَائِدِ الْمَسَانِيدِ الثَّمَانِيَةِ ، تَخْرِيجُ الْإِمَامِ الْعَلَّامَةِ شَيْخِ الْإِسْلَامِ خَاتِمَةِ الْحُفَّاظِ قَاضِي الْقُضَاةِ شِهَابِ الدِّينِ أَبِي الْفَضْلِ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ عَلِيِّ بْنِ حَجَرٍ الْعَسْقَلَانِيِّ الْمِصْرِيِّ ، الشَّافِعِيِّ ، تَغَمَّدَهُ اللهُ بِرَحْمَتِهِ وَأَسْكَنَهُ بُحْبُوحَةَ جَنَّتِهِ آمِينَ .
وَصَلَّى اللهُ عَلَى سَيِّدِنَا مُحَمَّدٍ وَآلِهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، وَحَسْبُنَا اللهُ وَنِعْمَ الْوَكِيلُ .
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Awf bin Malik (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "I certainly know well the person who will be the very last of all the people of Paradise to enter Paradise; he will be a man who used to beseech Allah Almighty to move him away from the Fire of Hell."
'Wa as'alu Allaha ta'ala an yuzahzihani 'ani al-nar, wa yudkhilani al-jannah, bi-mannihi wa karamihi, amin' (And I beseech Allah Almighty, by His grace and generosity, to move me away from the Fire and admit me into Paradise. O Allah, accept it.)
At this point the second part of the book is completed, and with its completion the entire book named al-Matalib al-'Aliyah fi Zawa'id al-Masanid al-Thamaniyah is completed, whose takhrij and arrangement were carried out by the Imam, the Allamah, the Shaykh al-Islam, the Seal of the Hadith Masters (Khatimat al-Huffaz) and Chief Judge (Qadi al-Qudat) Shihab al-Din Abu al-Fadl Ahmad bin Ali bin Hajar al-Asqalani al-Misri al-Shafi'i. May Allah Almighty cover him with the shade of His mercy and grant him a place in the best and most spacious part of His Paradise. Amin.
And may Allah Almighty send blessings and peace upon our master Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) and upon his family; and Allah is sufficient for us, and He is the best Disposer of affairs.
