وَقَالَ أَبُو يَعْلَى : حَدَّثَنَا عُقْبَةُ ، قَالَ : نَا يُونُسُ ، نَا ابْنُ إِسْحَاقَ ، عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللهِ بْنِ الْمُغِيرَةِ ، عَنْ سُلَيْمَانَ بْنِ عَمْرٍو ، عَنْ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهُ ، قَالَ : إِنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ : عُرِضَتْ عَلَيَّ الْجَنَّةُ ، فَذَهَبْتُ أَتَنَاوَلُ مِنْهَا قِطْفًا أُرِيكُمُوهُ ، فَحِيلَ بَيْنِي وَبَيْنَهُ ، فَقَالَ رَجُلٌ : يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ مِثْلُ مَا فِي الْجَنَّةِ مِنَ الْعِنَبِ ؟ قَالَ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : كَأَعْظَمِ دَلْوٍ فَرَتْ أُمُّكَ قَطُّ .
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Sa'id al-Khudri (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Paradise was presented to me, and I intended to pluck a bunch (of grapes) from it so that I could show it to you, but a barrier was placed between me and it." At this a man asked: O Messenger of Allah! Are the grapes of Paradise just like (the grapes of the world)? He (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Equal to the largest leather bucket your mother has ever made."
Imam Abu Ya'la recorded this hadith, and it has been declared sahih (authentic) on the basis of its supporting reports.
