It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Mas'ud (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Indeed, you will see a bird in Paradise and a desire (to eat) it will arise in your heart, and it will immediately fall before you, roasted."
Imam Abu Ya'la and Imam al-Bazzar recorded this hadith through the route of Khalaf bin Khalifah; Imam al-Bazzar stated explicitly that the chain of this hadith is known only through this route, and that the narrator in it, Humayd al-A'raj (Humayd bin Ata, a Kufan), is weak.
I (Ibn Hajar) say: We heard this hadith with a high chain ('uluww) in the Juz' of al-Hasan bin Arafah.
