وَقَالَ إِسْحَاقُ : أَخْبَرَنَا النَّضْرُ بْنُ شُمَيْلٍ ، ثَنَا ابْنُ عَوْنٍ ، عَنِ ابْنِ سِيرِينَ ، عَنِ ابْنِ مَسْعُودٍ رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهُ قَالَ : مَا وَعَدَنَا اللهُ وَرَسُولُهُ قَدْ رَأَيْنَا غَيْرَ أَرْبَعٍ : طُلُوعِ الشَّمْسِ مِنْ مَغْرِبِهَا ، وَدَابَّةِ الْأَرْضِ ، وَالدَّجَّالِ ، وَخُرُوجِ يَأْجُوجَ وَمَأْجُوجَ .
فِيهِ انْقِطَاعٌ .

It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Mas'ud (may Allah be pleased with him) that he said: "Everything (of victory, help and future events) that Allah Almighty and His Messenger (peace and blessings be upon him) promised us, we have seen, except four major signs: the rising of the sun from its west (the direction of its setting), the appearance of the Beast of the Earth (Dabbat al-Ard, a special creature that will emerge from the earth), the trial of the Dajjal, and the emergence of Gog and Magog (Ya'juj and Ma'juj)."
