قَالَ الْحُمَيْدِيُّ : حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ الْحَارِثِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الْمَلِكِ ، حَدَّثَنِي مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ إِنْسَانَ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ عَبْدِ رَبِّهِ بْنِ الْحَكَمِ بْنِ عُثْمَانَ ، عَنْ أَبِي بَكْرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ الْحَارِثِ بْنِ هِشَامٍ ، عَنْ كَعْبٍ ، قَالَ : سَمِعْتُهُ يَقُولُ : إِنَّ وَجًّا مُقَدَّسٌ مُنْذُ عَرَجَ الرَّبُّ إِلَى السَّمَاءِ يَوْمَ قَضَى الْخَلْقَ .
قَالَ الْحُمَيْدِيُّ : وَجٌّ بِالطَّائِفِ .

It is narrated from Ka'b al-Ahbar that he said: "Indeed, the place Wajj has been sacred and inviolable since the time when the Lord of the worlds ascended to the heaven after completing the creation of all creatures."
Imam al-Humaydi (may Allah have mercy on him) says that "Wajj" is the name of a place located in Ta'if.
