قَالَ ابْنُ أَبِي عُمَرَ : حَدَّثَنَا الْمُقْرِئُ ، حَدَّثَنَا حَيْوَةُ ، حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ لَهِيعَةَ ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو هَانِي ، قَالَ : إِنَّ أَبَا بَكْرِ بْنَ أَبِي قَيْسٍ الْقُرَشِيَّ أَخْبَرَهُ عَمَّنْ أَخْبَرَهُ عَنْ عُثْمَانَ رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهُ ، أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ نَبِيَّ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ : الْخُبْثُ أَحَدٌ وَسِتُّونَ جُزْءًا ، فَجُزْءٌ فِي الْجِنِّ وَالْإِنْسِ ، وَسِتُّونَ فِي الْبَرْبَرِ .
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Uthman (may Allah be pleased with him) that he heard the Prophet of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) say: "Wickedness and mischief consist of sixty-one parts; one part of it is in all the jinn and humans, while sixty parts are found in the Berber people."
This narration is transmitted in the Musnad of Ibn Abi Umar; however, its chain contains Ibn Lahi'ah, who is da'if (weak), and one narrator is unnamed (unknown), so this narration is extremely weak in its chain and cannot be used as evidence.
