حَدَّثَنَا سَعِيدٌ ، ثَنَا رُشَيْدٌ ، ثَنَا ثَابِتٌ ، عَنْ أَنَسٍ رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهُ قَالَ : قَالَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : اللَّهُمَّ بَارِكْ فِيهِنَّ . يَعْنِي : جَوَارِيَ بَنِي النَّجَّارِ .
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) (on seeing the girls of Banu al-Najjar) made this supplication: 'Allahumma barik fihinna' (O Allah, send down blessings upon them), by which he (peace and blessings be upon him) meant the girls of the tribe of Banu al-Najjar.
Takhrij and grading: The chain of this hadith is sahih (authentic); Ishaq bin Rahwayh narrated it in his Musnad (4141), and Imam al-Bukhari also recorded it in al-Adab al-Mufrad (1222).
