قَالَ أَبُو يَعْلَى : حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو مَعْمَرٍ ، هُوَ الْقَطِيعِيُّ ، ثَنَا عَطْوَانُ ، هُوَ ابْنُ مِشْكَانَ ، عَنْ جَمْرَةَ الْحَنْظَلِيَّةِ - رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهَا - قَالَتْ : أَتَيْتُ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ بِإِبِلِ الصَّدَقَةِ ، فَمَسَحَ رَأْسِي وَدَعَا لِي .
It is narrated from Sayyidah Jamrah al-Yarbu'iyyah al-Hanzaliyyah (may Allah be pleased with her) that she said: "I came into the noble presence of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) with the camels of zakah and charity, and he (peace and blessings be upon him) (out of great love and kindness) passed his blessed hand over my head and prayed for goodness and blessing for me."
Imam Abu Ya'la narrated this hadith in his Musnad (4109); the narrator in its chain, Atwan bin Mishkan, has been declared thiqah (trustworthy) by Imam Ibn Hibban, and on this basis the hadith is jayyid (good) and hasan in its chain.
