وَقَالَ الْحَارِثُ : حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْعَزِيزِ بْنُ أَبَانَ ، ثَنَا الْمَسْعُودِيُّ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الْمَلِكِ بْنِ عُمَيْرٍ ، عَنْ أَبِي الْمَلِيحِ ، عَنِ ابْنِ مَسْعُودٍ رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهُ قَالَ : كُنْتُ أَسْتُرُ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ إِذَا اغْتَسَلَ ، وَأُوقِظُهُ إِذَا نَامَ ، وَأَمْشِي مَعَهُ فِي الْأَرْضِ .. الْحَدِيثَ
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Mas'ud (may Allah be pleased with him) that he said: "I used to arrange a screen for the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) when he took a bath; when he (peace and blessings be upon him) was resting, it was I who would wake him; and I used to accompany him (peace and blessings be upon him) as he walked on the earth."
